Every job we do
gives money back
to the people who power it.
Most platforms take a cut and keep it. We take a cut and publish it, redistribute it, and let you watch it work. Here's exactly where the money goes.

Community Fund Impact Report
A live PDF showing every dollar into and out of the fund over the last 3 months. Auto-generated from the dual-ledger — no filters, no spin.
Where every dollar goes — transparently.
A small platform fee comes off every vendor invoice. Half of that fee keeps the lights on. Half goes back to the community. Most platforms keep 100% of their cut. We publish ours.
Community Fund · 7.5% of every job
Half of our platform fee
When a vendor completes a $500 job, $37.50 of our $75 cut flows to the community fund — vendor bonuses, loyal-referrer rewards, neighborhood sponsorships. Public ledger, public outflows.
Operations · 7.5% + material margin + warranties
The other half keeps us running
Salaries, hosting, vendor recruitment, customer service, warranties we honor — the unglamorous stuff that makes the rest possible. We're transparent about it: this isn't a non-profit.
Outflow · Vendor performance bonuses
5-star reviews earn cash
From the community fund. Better work, bigger bonuses. The vendors that delight you make more.
Outflow · Loyal-referrer rewards
Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum
Refer more neighbors, climb the tiers, earn bigger commissions. The top referrers get cash from the community fund too.
Outflow · Community sponsorships
Little League, food banks, emergency repairs
A portion of the community fund sponsors local programs — every dollar accounted for on this page.

Salaries, hosting, support, vendor recruitment. We're upfront — this isn't a non-profit.
We're not a contractor list. We're a contractor co-op.
Angie's List, HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack — they make money by extracting from contractors (lead fees, subscriptions, ranking pay-to-play). We make money by connecting them with neighbors, then returning the surplus back to the community.
That's the whole model. Vendors get paid better. Referrers get cash for word-of-mouth they were doing anyway. Customers get one transparent price with materials included. And every job leaves the neighborhood a little better off than it found it.
